brightness issue with HTC Vive

I recently downloaded the trial version , I am very impressed with the initial look and feel, however the brightness in the Vive headset is very poor, the display on the monitor is great.
Is this just a trial issue ? will the main program overcome this ?

Tony,
Sorry no screenshot, the monitor display is fine , its the display in the Vive HTC headset which is dull. But only when using the fly-inside Sim, everything else is fine.

I have tried switching the display ports and the display priorities to the headset and screen , but the results is the same.
