Bell 47 for MSFS

Postby John Hargreaves » Wed Mar 24, 2021 4:52 pm

I was very pleased to see the news about the Bell 47 in development for MSFS, and was wondering if there might be a new section here in the forum to discuss progress and give feedback etc
I imagine that the main sim forum would be a busier place, but that brings a lot of noise too, so a forum section here might attract more experienced users. Maybe a beta testing section could be helpful, like for the FFS main sim.
I think the Bell 47, bringing its own flight model from FFS, has great potential. I'd say the reception that the freeware H135 has had gives an indication of the pent up desire for a proper helicopter, and whoever is first to bring a proper flight model helicopter will be at an advantage I'm sure.
Anyway, good luck with the project, and if I can be of any help beta testing (Reverb G2/oe-xam collective/buttkicker user) I'd be happy to lend a hand.

Hey guys

I run a YouTube channel on MSFS2020 https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJDfQ7 ... dosZG5hpRw

Qualified my first heli licence 15 years ago, fly piston and single engine turbines. Simming since a kid

No hands on experience with the Bell 47, but keen to offer assistance for any beta testing under NDA, pre-release video instructional videos and well anything I can help with at all?

Big fan of MSF2020 and of course all things rotors, so would be very excited to play any type of role in this?

Thanks
