Chopper sim crash

If you take off in any chopper with the parking brake on; after a minute or two the sim will crash. Wheels; skids, no difference.

Hi Shalomar,

Sorry you're running into this problem. I unfortunately haven't been able to replicate the bug yet. What airport(s) are you taking off from? Are there any choppers that cause this crash more consistently than others, or does it happen every time with all of them? Has the crash happened at all with the parking brake off, even once? There is a known problem where gauges sometimes freeze up after a couple minutes of flight, but if you're getting a full-on crash, it's probably a separate issue.

Thanks,
Malcolm

I was taking off from KTEB when I experienced this. I tried several times and when the parking brake was off could complete a pattern in any chopper. With it on the sim would always shut down sometime on the downwind in any chopper.

Hi Donald,

When the crash happens, do you get the BugSplat report option? If so could you include "Shalomar - Helicopter Brake Crash" in the description so we can look up the report easily?

Thanks,

No, the sim just goes right to desktop and the Oculus goes to Oculus home.
