Throttle problem on the 717

Postby elDaz2 » Mon Feb 18, 2019 4:15 pm

On the 717, the throttle keep throttling down after a few minutes of flight.

The lever on my CH Eclipse yoke is at full throttle and the lever inside the sim just throttle down after a few minutes.

If I reset the lever all the way down and put it back all the way up (full throttle), it just slowly throttle back down.

I do not experience this problem on the 737.

I have experienced this problem on BETA 0.5.3 and BETA 0.5.3.5. I have not tested in 0.5.

Thanks for the report. The 717 has some quirks that aren't present in the other aircraft. We'll look into this throttle issue.

By any chance do you remember how fast you were going when the throttle started going down? It does automatically throttle down if it detects the aircraft is overspeeding, so that may be what's going on here.

Hey thanks for your answer. It is exactly it. It's the plane that throttle down when over-speeding. My confusion came from the fact that for some reason the 717 spawn with flaps extended so max speed it at 250 knots. The solution is just to put flaps back up.
