I have a HOTAS and rudder pedals for the main functions but like to use touch controllers for secondary controls. Partly for immersion, mainly because it's easier to see a switch and press it than try to remember which button I might have assigned or try to feel my way around the keyboard.
But often real world objects get in the way - Joystick, chair arm, Beer etc. and I can't reach them. I know I can click with the mouse but that's awkward.
It would be really nice if we could use the laser pointer for these hard to reach things. If there's a way to do this that I'm missing please tell.
Actually, hand tracking would be awesome (I play on Quest) - No need to let go of stick and find where I left the controller to go press something.....but let's not get carried away!
