I'm seriously considering cancelling my order it's a lottery when the money comes out of my account and I can't justify having £530 just sitting there waiting. I may be stuck with my trusty dk2 for a while to come.

Hey Tony, with you set for May, it's possible as they clean out fraudulent orders you could move to April, but I doubt March. If they do what they did with the DK2 and there is a problem with the payment, they will notify you and give you a chance to update payment information. I assume you set up payment with Paypal? But if so and you don't leave that money in there, there will be a toggle before it ships. Worst case is you lose your position in line which you are thinking about doing anyway. But that gives you a chance to see how things go and push the decision out.

Just a thought. Fingers crossed it works out.

I'm brand new here. Just thought it a good idea to join. I pressed the button dead on 8am PST, and 35 minutes later I managed to confirm my order, dated April. I'm looking forward to the Rift's arrival, and some good info right here.

I think very few of us are luck enough to have £500+ sitting around, but I'm lucky that I've got a birthday between now and April which will offset some of the cost.

I ordered, 3 minutes in was as fast as I could get it done. Expected in March. I'm a total convert since trying the DK2 in September. Haven't flown on a monitor since.

Also bought in for the pro version of flyinside. Thanks for a fantastic product Dan, can't wait to see it continue to improve.

I waited 12 hours due to time difference, a party and needing to sleep
I have to wait till June and now if you order its maybe July
Some of the supposed fraudulent purchases will be wiped and move everyone up in the queue
I have a 4K monitor and the grainy DK2 resolution is bugging me but the experience of 3D is too compelling
The hardware is going to advance very quickly as competition inspires a frantic set of competetitive improvements

I ordered mine 44 minutes from start. The transaction through Paypal went flawless and no delay. I guess I was one of the lucky ones. Mine ships on April. It will be here in no time. Its been almost a month now I pre ordered and it seems like a few days ago. If I'm happy with the DK2 for sure CV1 will be fine.
