Sounds promising but my uneducated guess the FPS will be taking a hit.

More info: Latency < 13ms | 110° FOV, 2560 x 1440 | 534 PPI per eye, 60Hz High Refresh Rate, Use it with your glasses on | Automatically adjusts pupil distance.
Looks like one would need a killer graphics card to run FSX. Will Flyinside work with other VR's other than Occulas?

Does not make sense. PPI=pixels/points per inch. Saying "Pixels per inch per eye" is nonsense. Every manufacturer should just start using PPD (Pixels Per Degree) in conjunction with FOV when stating specs of their HMD:s, because that's what actually matters for user experience. I'm so tired of these confusions.

Got the specs from here : http://the3glasses.com/usd/showpage/ Need serious GPU to run FSX. Nvidia has new GPU's second quarter. I think this will be a good year for VR to start taking over monitors. I run 3 x 24 1920 x 1200. Enjoy the set up flying helicopters. D2 Vangard VR @ 1440 would rule.

The advances I've heard about for eye tracking and foveated rendering, combined with GPU per eye rendering sounds like the hot setup in the next generation and may happen sooner rather than later. At least GPU per eye is universal and not hardware related.

But until then, I think too much higher resolution is tough in demanding application like FSX/P3D with FlyInside. But who knows?
