Had a trip to scotland

Postby Jst » Sun Jan 31, 2016 3:41 pm

Had a fly around the highlands in P3D and what a pleasure it was...

Very nice! I tried the demo of the JF Tornado but it was a real frame rate hog. I'm going to wait and see how the SSW turns out.

yes not the sort of addon that you fly in a poputed area if I fly it I have to use VFR scenery. To say that I was flying it with VR it ran quite well. SSW have released the FSX version but the P3D version should be the end of this month I like their aircraft and at the moment I am just buying P3D addons.

I love the SSW Harrier, it's worth the money and convoluted activation process!

Yes trouble was you couldn't see much out of the Tornado so did a quick switch.

Yes it is heavy on fps you have to be selective with the scenery and P3D\FSX settings I have managed to get reasonable performance though.

Yes that activation process is a pain in the backside and that's being polite but as you say worth it. The graphics have not got the eye candy that some have but very realistic systems and a great feel while flying.
