Hey guys, check this out - coming soon...

The thing is you don't build up formations flight by flight. For this you just add planes. They also seem to follow a bit too good but still, if you are smooth, it won't be noticeable.

It may have FSRecorder functionality too but I don't know. It would seem easy to add that if the developer chooses. I would think the hard part of hooking into the sim to place AI planes is done and the rest is just the data you feed it.

Pretty cool!

Got a reply from the dev - he is hoping to release in about a week on SimMarket for about $10 give or take.

I've contacted Oliver and asked about VR and Flyinside and of course offered myself as a beta tester. Report to follow ;)

Thanks for the HU Robert, looks promising !!!

Hey Tony! Looks good!

Oliver is letting me in on beta as well but I'm nailed for time until this weekend. Looks like very cool software. Hoping it does FSRecorder style stuff as well. Could be handy to get other angles on a flight. Apparently won't build up formations manually though but looks like it would at least let you define a flight and then you could fly formation with that one airplane. Will see soon enough. ;-)

Cool DCS Huey video too!

Really got to try this in VR! Also, I think I can maybe move head/camera position to be in the nose, waist, tail, and maybe even ball turret. Experiments this weekend! :D
