Sweet! I can't tell what that bird is

I'd like to participate whenever I can. Perhaps a stickied post here showing the TS Server (thx Robert) and the Connection Host (thx Bruce) would make it easier for folks to connect? I'd guess folks could post to that thread then when they are planning a session and what planes they will be flying. MP flying in FSX is a still bit fuzzy for me (but I can learn!).

Hey Derek,

It's a T-28A Trojan from Ant's Airplanes. It's a donationware airplane where anyone can download and use it but Ant just appreciates donations. I guess we need to pretty much what you suggest - posting links to these planes as well as the TS server. But the planes we have been flying are mostly free like the T-28A, the Mossie, the Tiger Moth, and then the stock planes. I have a feeling that now that we have sorted the multiplayer jitter issue, we will probably branch more into some of the payware planes like the Flight Sim Developers P-38, Tony is salivating for the MilViz F-4 (and I have to say it is sure a beauty!), etc. Tony and I have decided to get the Ant's Airplanes T-28 B/C version for the tailhook (carrier ops here we come), features, and some of the liveries. But the T-28A is plenty good for flying too. It's a wonderful plane with great visibility - and you want visibility for multiplayer at least in my opinion.

On the TeamSpeak server end, I pay for that and am responsible for it but recently found that guest users can't upload or download files using it so we are going to open it up to FlyInside general users to get more online. I was nervous about it being abused if we opened it up to everyone. So far we've stuck with just beta beta users but almost always the most we've had is 3. We're limited to 5 seats at the moment but may open it up more if we need to. It would certainly make multiplayer more fun with more.

I'll see about working up a comprehensive post or if anyone else wants to start. There actually is a lot of information to get around to people for multiplayer to work best but it's really pretty easy and a whole lot of fun. The visuals are amazing!

I have the TS server details saved in my TS Bookmarks :)

I took a quick flight in the T28 and it's a "manageable" handful :D I'm used to the jets, so a real by-the-seat-of-the-pants bird like this one makes me go back to basics. I may use the Beech Bonanza if you guys use the T28 as it's a kinder plane for me.

I have the Milviz T38 for both FSX and P3D. I'm confident that all of their work is outstanding. The T38 is perfect - except it's a frame rate killer :(

I'm still trying to wrap my brain around the FSHost. I'll figure it out in time. If the connections are smooth, it will be worth it.

Anyone who can make it Saturday, come on down!

I'll be on Teamspeak from 1700 UTC (10 AM MDT) forward if anyone wants to go multiplayer.

See viewtopic.php?f=8&t=563 for TS server and password.

Got a new beta beta to test and the new features and improvements look really good so far!
