BTW, does anyone use PilotEdge with FlyInside? Or does anything prevent this?

Thanks,

I have used flight simulators as a training tool for years. Not VR, but TrackIr. Only started VR recently.
Before I do my RL simulator sessions every 6 months, I set up the same flight, aircraft, weights, navaids, radios, weather, etc, and do as much as I can from the program provided. I run through the various failures I expect using my QRH. Position switches accordingly. It gives me a good idea about how much time I need, how much distance I will cover doing all this, nearest airports, you name it.
It is a great help, but I still don’t tell my coworkers I do this. :D

As a new student this got to be a fantastic help if used properly. Basic flying, IFR training. Procedures.
I have spent hours sitting on a chair with paper posters of cockpit panels around me trying to get a feel for the cockpit when I did transition training to a new aircraft.
With this set up you can practise IN the cockpit, run preflight check list, do everything and be instantly at home when you enter the real simulator. Or aircraft for that sake. Provided the aircraft is simulated well as the PMDG products are.
I practise raw data flying in P3D.

Fantastic! I need to figure out how to get the charts and the QRH into the VR cockpit if I’m going to use VR for my regular practice. Otherwise I still have to use Trackir for this part.

This is only going to get easier and better as the VR technology becomes more powerful and refined. Why don't you tell your coworkers you're doing this btw, Omaniac? haha
You should take a look at these top online casinos and how fun they are.
