The last flying AVRO Vulcan, XH558, took her final flight today in England at Robin Hood Airport Doncaster Sheffield. It was streamed live and is now up on YouTube.

Majestic aircraft and in the English weather she was boiling fog all across the top of her wing.

I'm glad to see her retired after a very successful and safe operation (and a very impressive return to flight project)

Personally I can think of better aeroplanes to spend the money on but I know I'm in the minority!

I was in the Air Force when this was operated by them. I missed her then and I already miss her now. If I won the lottery I'd get her flying for another 10 years.............Shouldn't be getting attached to airframes but I am....
