I'm all for it! The multiplayer interface is borked (sides are chopped off), but we can give it a go...I've never done multiplayer with DCS.

Nor I, it should be fun though.

I've sent both you and Tony a ''friend request" on Steam, hope to catch you online sometime.

I use the non Steam version of DCS. Do both the Steam and non-Steam version connect via multiplayer?

I'm also using the non Steam version. I think DCS has it's own multiplayer system, though I haven't tried it yet but I figure we could still use Steam to communicate and arrange things.

Yes, DCS has its own multiplayer interface. It's a bit chopped off with the Oculus, but it should be usable:

We went ahead and setup a 10 slot Teamspeak Server. I don't feel right using Robert's TS server for non FSX-FI stuff. Here's the address:

The nice thing about DCS for us pilots is to simply compare the FlyInside/FSX/P3D experience with that in DCS - FPS, smoothness, shadows, clarity,...

For me, the 3D experience is terrific - not much for weapons, but I like to fly with the other AI aircraft - haven't found a way to do formation training yet - though it's probably there. If you fly a mission and get shot down, the rest of the experience watching from outside the other aircraft is simply amazing - looking out the back of a fighter that is getting shot at or watching a Hellfire missile zoom along is - WOW!

The Xpadder program sure comes in handy in providing a lot of buttons for use from a joystick HOTAS so that you don't need to access a keyboard.

Try it (make sure you get the openbeta version) for runtimes 0.7 and 0.8

Ejecting during a hectic dogfight is another good way to see the DCS World
