Hi Tony,

I assume you are not having these problems? What driver are you using?
I think I may be another sufferer. Only recently I'm having my view suddenly switch to the "Sim + Waiting for Simulator" view, then immediately back to CV1 view. It only happens occasionally, but on every flight with both P3D and FSX. It may coincide with my installing 368.39 which I think is the latest driver.

If you tell me which driver you are using I'll install it and test.

Might be a 1080 issue. Guys go into device manager and find gpu and roll back driver and see how it goes. I kept getting kernel errors with the latest driver but was fine on the one before. Worth a try :)

Hi Tony,

I was using 368.39, couldn't roll back, so uninstalled the driver, did a clean install of 368.69, and haven't had the kind of dropout I was experiencing since. Hopefully the problem has gone away!

I'm using the Nvidia GTX 1070 with latest drivers. Come to think of it, I did start having this problem after the latest driver update on my 1070, about 4-5 days ago.

I'd advise steering clear of the latest driver. Seems to screw the latest gpu's up. I've rolled back and am stable. Keep reporting any faults guys ;)

I just did a driver rollback, and flew for a 10-15 minutes and the rollback was unsuccessful. So I did an uninstall and re-installed the current driver. Flew for about 5 minutes and it too was unsuccessful. No idea as
to what the problem is. All I know is that it started occuring after the last update to my GTX 1070 driver.

I don't know if this is related, but another problem I'm having ever since I updated the driver is that I'll be flying along and all of a sudden for no reason
the sensor on the Rift has me either sitting on the floor of the cockpit or my head is sticking out of the top of the cockpit. I keep having to reset the
sensor. That didn't happen until I updated my video card driver. Just don't know if it related or not.

Here is a link to that confirms that there is a problem with the update on the Nvidia driver

Hey guys,

I am having the same problem but I have 980 GTX with the latest drivers (368.81). Please advise if I should downgrade drivers

I do not know why the sim drops out of VR mode and goes to the menu mode for few seconds even when I have 40/90 fps happening.

Thank You
