Leap Motion Issues

Postby GTSFLYING » Sat Jul 23, 2016 5:47 pm

Hi Guys, First time posting here!
Ive got the Occulus CV1 and just recently attached a leap motion. Ive installed the Orion Beta drivers and done all the relevant calibration and followed all the checklist instructions I can also see my 'ghost' hands inside the cockpit of any aircraft and move them about but for some reason I am unable to push or trigger anything in the cockpit. If someone has had this problem before or could advise on how to fix it I would be very grateful! I feel so close yet so far from enjoying the leap motion experience together with Flyinside

Hi and welcome

I see you've got the Orion drivers installed. Do the leap motion demos work ok?

Hi yes the demos all work perfectly, seems to be something in fsx. I can use my mouse to control the switches in the plane but when I try to use my ghost hands it hovers off the throttle or switches but I am unable to do anything.

I should also have asked if you've tried different aircraft (including the default?)

I have tried every aircraft but non work. I can see the mouse hover with the description and hands but no action.

I dont have any SDK or anything installed, could this be a potential reason for it not to work?

Can you shoot me an e-mail, dan@flyinside-fsx.com ? Be sure to attach a log.txt from C:\Users\YOUR_USER\AppData\Roaming\FlyInside. Certainly sounds like a bug!
