Vatsim / IVAO

I found a few existing threads on the topic. But it is not clear to me wheather it is feasible to fly on either network with Flyinside. I have never done that before in 2D. Now that I have Flyinside, it feels like the next logical step towards immersion. My understanding is that there is some text input involved, which is problematic with the VR headset in your face. So if Flyinside worked with Vatsim or IVAO flying at all, I would appreciate if anyone could share their experience with it.
