Teaser for the helicopter guys

The autorotation at the end was ugly but man the AS350 B3 is a handful.

Yeah I came in way too hot and was trying not to over speed the rotor. That 350 doesn't like to fly slow even with the doors off. :D

All the tearing and artefacts that are in the other teaser vids appear to be gone in this one so that's looking good :D

Hey Rift, thanks a lot for the vid. I can't wait for the xplane version of flyinside. I've got a couple of questions, if you don't mind. How's the resolution so far? Can you clearly read the instruments? How about the fps drops? Any stuttering? Have you tried the B412 from Trident?
Again, thanks a lot.

I just tried the 412 but the engines are stuck at idle! I need to read up on it as my normal throttle axis has no effect. It's not a helicopter that I've done any flying in yet. Main analogue flight instruments are legible as is the smaller clock. Ts and Ps needles and arcs are visible but require leaning in to read the numbers. radios are mostly legible (may need to lean in a little). Switches on the collective head are readable. Centre console and overhead require some leaning to become readable but switch positions are easily visible from normal viewing position. That is with Flyinside oversampling at 4k. I can't see the Garmin much at all but haven't tested the zoom feature yet to check. Performance is work in progress so it would be unfair to comment too much on that yet.
