Was it working fine before ? Have you tried disabling your plugins one by one?

Thanks Tony,

I found out that FlywithLua is the problem.

As soon a i enable this plugin, i get a crash right at the start of x-plane 11.

I tried FlywithLua without any script but x-plane keeps crashing.

I downloaded FlyWithLua Core Edition for X-Plane 11 (Windows, Linux, Mac OS X) version 2.6.2 but to no avail.

Was using xprealistic (it uses flywithlua) seems i have to go without this addon until the problem hopefully gets resolved sooner or later.

FlyWithLua often is the core reason for crashes or weird behaviour. Tony, we should start to ask this question right from the start if anything unusual happens:

So, to summarize:

-You also had crashes with XP11 without FlyInside due to FlyWithLua?
-You are using XPRealistic? Is it only a lua script or does it modify anything else like reshade does?
-Now you removed FlyWithLua and XPRealistic and now it works fine with v1.81?

More details would be nice here since for me it's not clear if you solved it

Nope, absolutely no crashes with FlywithLua ....with or without Flyinside Version...Only after i used the new flyinside version

-You are using XPRealistic? Is it only a lua script or does it modify anything else like reshade does?
I just have to copy a xprealistic-folder and a lua file into the flywithlua\scipt folder. It delivers new sounds to some airplanes.
But Flyinside aka x-plane 11 also crashed without the xprealistic script.
So it has to be an issue with Flywithlua alone. I removed all scripts (only had 2 scripts in the script folder - xprealistic and heading helper)

-Now you removed FlyWithLua and XPRealistic and now it works fine with v1.81?
The problem seems to be the flywithlua alone. When i remove flywithlua-plugin flyinside 1.81 works like a charm.

I downloaded a fresh FlyWithLua Core Edition for X-Plane 11 but still got the crash when starting x-plane via Flyinside. Without Flyinside all is working well.

i have flywithlua installed, for the extra graphic options that the rendering tool brings, but i have not experienced any such issues. could it be just one of the lua scripts that is involved in the apparent conflict with FI? maybe just remove the scripts to a temporary folder and see if you still get the crash. If not, then add the scripts back one by one, restarting FI/XP each time, to see if you can find the culprit.

That's always a good approach!
But Tony can also tell you a thing or two about it: He had the scripts folder empty and still had those weird black shadows on the cockpit glasses until he removed FlyWithLua completely.

The Xjet plugin from Airfoillabs (C172) also crashes FlyInside.

Like i said, my script-folder was empty too...... "I removed all scripts"

So the scripts aren't the issue.

But i can live without Flywithlua at the moment, so it helps me to enable/disable flywithlua via x-organizer easily.

So it's not a hassle...

Thanks for the help though to determine the problem :)
