Postby richdury » Mon Aug 07, 2017 6:13 am

Hi.
I have recently developed a problem where when activating the Atc window I get a mirror image of the cockpit view . this also happens if I select the GPS view

Can you please help?

Thanks
I am using FSX, WINDOWS 7, GTX970 Grahics card and the Oculus Rift.

The 1st image (ATC Window) is displayed when i load the plane and select the ATC window, it seems to display a copy of what i can see in the Rift. if i select GPS as in the second image the Atc window is displayed but the 1st window still displays the copy image but flickers constantly and then crashes the simulator.if I start fsx with a A2A plane and select the ATC window it shows up but it is not seen in the cockpit only on the second monitor. this issue was not there in the beginning it is a problem that as just started.
Hope that makes sense and thank you for your help.

Hi mate , if it's just started have you recently added any new addon that could cause this ? Does it do it with stock aircraft.

Hi.
No, I have not added anything recently, it seems to happen to default fsx aircraft however with a2a it seems to work OK but does not appear in the cockpit?
I am going to do a system restore as I think somewhere along the line it may have got corrupt

I will let you know.
Thank you

Sorry in being late getting back to you as I have been away. Since using a previous restore point the problem seems to have rectified itself. I will keep you posted. Thank you again for your prompt reply.

Hi.
By resetting the fsx settings from the start menu this enables the ATC window to correct itself however by doing this I have to activate the software again is there any way I can reset this within appdata roaming profiles where the flyinside logs and settings are stored.
Thank you.
