Many thanks for that info Oleg.
I tried it and it significantly reduced the memory footprint, both with main memory and the GPU VRAM.
That info should definitely be included in the Wiki.
It will have most impact for those with a marginal system. We all owe you a crate of beer for that!

On my system, the folder is located under C:\Program Files, rather than \Program Files (x86).

It didn't fix my problem, so I'm still investigating.
I'm reading up on Process Lasso to see if that could help. At least there's a free demo I could try out.

Many thanks again,
Steven.

Just tried it, but it didn't fix it.

I'm going to give Lasso a quick try.
My thinking is that when these long pauses occur, all CPU cores are maxed out by X-Plane.
In that situation, Flyinside and the head tracking will be starved of CPU resources.
I'm going to try and limit X-Plane, so it doesn't have access to all cores. I think this is worth a try.

Steven.
