Seat height jumps up or down on aircraft

Postby photonic » Wed Nov 29, 2017 11:09 am

My seat position on the many payware or addon aircraft keeps on jumping up by a few cm, and sometimes jumps down by a few cm. Which requires me constantly changing my seat to the correct height. The sensor on my oculus or headset is not blocked and therefore not responsible.

I have the same problem and I suspect that it comes from my motion platform software. Do you use a motion platform?

I have seen this happen as well. It doesn't happen all the time, but, it does happen frequently in my setup. I don't have a motion platform.

Danny, do you use any additional software while running the sim? For me it happens as soon as I start the software for my motion platform. Not starting this software means : no problems with the jumps! :D

No additional software involved. Again, the repositioning doesn't happen often.
