HTC vive 2

Lots of rumours about a HTC vive with 4k displays being launched monday at CES in the press at the moment.

This would be amazingly good news.

Don't switch too fast lol the rumours were a tad out. It's a vive pro with a slight increase in res and fov. Will hold out for cv2 this end ;)

Don't hold your breath on that one and no one should have faith in such a company as facebook / oculus. I am ashamed to even have the DK2 ever since they announced facebook. Will see how reviews and reports from others on text legibility.

I was ready to spring on this myself when it becomes available. The 78% increase and lack of screen door effect are not true?

I am looking to take the plunge for the HTC Vive Pro....has this been tested by FI developers....is there any advantage over the original Vive?
Thanks

Sorry guys, been away for a bit of personal issues. Still about. I believe the res is as good as the oculus go if you've tried that ? I have one for movie watching and it's a step up from the rift. Dan has one I believe and there is a thread about somewhere and users are asking him to unlock a feature that would help with the resolution. Not been tackled yet. I have noticed the pro is slowly coming down in price but its still 1200 odd pounds to purchase that and everything needed to run it :(
