Thank you Dan for the reply..:)

Native x plane 11 VR is not nearly as a good experience as your Flyinside..ok, I can play with the settings to gain some fps, but with flyinside, on the headset (Oculus Rift)..you know, 90 fps can't be beaten.;)

Passing to P3D is not a good choice for me, I was a fs2004 user (and a fs2002, fs2000, fs98, fs for win95 user too), and for my taste, x plane 11 is just a better sim. And then the world behind one of this simulator is huge (scenery add on, commercial planes, plugins..big money).

I think that, if It give you the same smoothness of flyinside plugin, I'll give your flight simulator a try..;)
More or less you know when Europe will be available?
Any discount for ex Flyinside users? :)

I've never tried Flyinside in x-plane, only ever having used the native VR, and I am shocked that people are getting poor framerates from it. I am getting 45fps steady with 90 in less busy areas from an 8600k@4.5 and 1080ti. Surely those with better pcs than I should be getting significantly better performance.

I also think, to be honest, that the native VR is good. If I may be so bold as to say, the devs on the FIFS project could learn a lot about vr controller integration from using native x-plane vr.

I am of course sad that you guys can't get what you want, but I really don't believe the situation is that bad.

With regards P3D, if you've got XP11, don't even bother. Native VR has no controller integration, and FI only allows access to default aircraft when using controllers, and then only very hit and miss on whether levers/yokes/switches etc work. A2A doesn't give satisfactory results at all. If you are using external controls, it might be better, but I really like the immersion that comes from "using" the actual controls instead of either a mouse or external switches that I have to fumble around to find. For me, this puts p3d off the market.

I hope that Europe will came soon, together with a good DC9 and Md80 planes.. :D
..so sad for the end of X plane 11 Flyinside, all my hopes are in this new sim! ;)

Hey Tony,
I don't know if you noticed, but the latest beta of the FF A320 is now compatible with native VR...
Although it is not as good as FI, we can fly it again... :-)
