Unfortunately for me Luk's solution didn't work.

However, I'm seeing this in the event viewer:

If I rename the d3d9.dll, the game starts normally on the monitor but not on the Oculus. You can play the game normally on the monitor.

the .dll has a date of 9/20/2018.
Is there an updated .dll to try?

Hopefully this gets figured out soon!

I'm having the exact same issue. I can so a clean install of FSX SE and run on the monitor just fine. All of my other Oculus games work just fine. As soon as I install Flyinside FSX SE will not start.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I believe I am experiencing the same issue. Did anyone find a fix for this? I have sent an email to the address above so hopefully we can get this resolved!
