Would be very interested to hear anyone's experience using the just released PMDG 737 NGXu with flyinside.

Hi,

I got the NGXu tonight and gave it a go in Flyinside - I was skeptical that it would work but I was happily surprised.

The external textures are borked in the same way they are on the 747 - see-through in places. However, in the VC everything, for the most part, looks ok.

I saw a couple of weird artifacts but honestly, I couldn't tell if that was the result of my GPU being a little stressed or the NGX.

The HUD stops being visible near the ground, the same issue as in other aircraft.

Hopefully, Dan will fix the rest of it and we'll have it all working well soon.

Bought this today!

Couple of positive points:

1. All clickspots that worked in the earlier version, still work fine
2. some clickspots that didn't work in the earlier version now work

Negatives:

1. Cockpit is very dark compared to the previous version
2. Cockpit textures have a shimmer in VR (same as I found with the QW787, this must be a texture issue)
3. EFB isn't usable with the interaction dot, so I turned it off in the settings.
4. Engine start switches still aren't useable
5. the FMC is harder to read (because of the shimmer)

and a problem thats only started in this version

5. Opening and closing the HUB, causes my head position to be reset in VR!

But honestly still worth a purchase.

OK after using this for a few hours, I find the cockpit to dark.

It seems to be a PBR texture issue, goes away if you turn on HDR, however can't use flyinside with HDR turned on
