Yep, great fun!

I'm rubbish at driving games but this has just taken the top spot for me from Live For Speed. Project Cars seems to work really well in the rift, the single seaters are great, I've never felt a sensation of speed in a game quite so intense!

Unfortunately there is no crossplay between the Oculus Home and Steam version.

Does that mean I'll have to purchase again when my rift gets here :o

Sounds very interesting! Not very happy that there is no crossplay between Steam and Home though... But I've been thinking about getting a newer race sim, and Project Cars seems nice.

No, you just launch through Steam. I can't imagine that wouldn't work.

PCars is really one of the best driving/racing experiences for VR. PCars and Live for Speed both support the latest v1.3.1 Oculus runtimes. I am VERY close to the racing sim world and really keep my eyes on it. I love it as much as flying!

Yeah just lauch it from Steam. They've updated it to runtime 1.3.

Wonder what happened to iRacing. They used to have pretty good Oculus support a while back.

Iracing has said they are focusing on DX11 and once they're done with that they'll turn their attn to the rift. I think you still need to be running a runtime of .6 to play iracing. Disappointed in that, as that's my chosen platform for sim racing.

Patience is a virtue they say.....

For those interested in cars this VR steering wheel article should be interesting

I get enough driving in real life so I have no desire yet (or the time) to get into racing
