Amazon to the rescue

After Oculus cancelled my pre-order, I ordered the PC bundle from Amazon. Well that order arrived yesterday. Now I just need to unpack the HOTAS and wait for the updated VR mount from Leap Motion. :D

Oculus actually reinstated my preorder a few weeks later after I emailed Oculus support. Last I check that one is still slated for Mid-June.

First impressions :-

1. It's very light compared to the DK2
2. Pixel gap is less noticeable
3. You see this fabric-like texture when looking at a total black background (Fresnel effect?).
4. Not as comfortable with glasses compared to the DK2. The VR Lens Kickstarter should help with that.
