unbind

Postby oddtodd » Wed May 18, 2016 11:46 pm

I have managed to bind the action key and the recenter key to the same key and now im unable to click try now and get back to the options and change the settings. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling to reset but no luck. How do I reset my binds outside of the program?

Hi and welcome to FlyInside.

You can reset the bindings by removing or renaming the FlyInside ini/config file. Unfortunately I'm away from my PC at the moment but I'm sure someone will be able to advise the patch and file names.

Cheers,

If you have the show hidden files on then its quite easy. Go to C drive or where ever you installed FSX then /users/*yourname*/appdata/roaming then look for the flyinside folder. In there you will see a cfg file. Delete it then restart Flyinside and setup all your settings again. Hope this helps ?

Protip: You can type %appdata% in the address field of Windows Explorer to get to the desired folder and then click Roaming -> FlyInside. I think you can even type %appdata%\flyinside to get to the correct folder directly. You don't even have to have "Show hidden files" activated if you do this.

You're welcome! Next release will have a Start Menu shortcut to clear these settings automatically.
